Saturday 11am - 9pm, FREE All-Ages Events

 

Meet at the Memorial Hall at 11am to create a rainbow chalk paradise! Colour the streets with your vision and meet some of the local Drag Youth Advisory Group. At 12pm the incredible Lisa Bishop will invite you to add your colour and interpretation on our art installation - What Pride Means to Me.

 

Then enter the magical Storytime hosted by legendary Queen of Tupperware, Portia Turbo at the Town Hall at 1pm.

 

From there you are invited to a private audience with the legendary queens at The Town Hall, 2pm, PORTIA & STREWTH! You can ask them anything and everything you have ever wanted to know about drag, performing, amazing costumes or whatever comes to mind.

 

At 3pm in the Town Hall,  Local advocate Mieke will lead the way in creating a safe space for LGBTIQA+ people to share lived experience and support each other through conversation and connection for A Rainbow Conversation. Afternoon tea is available and our gorgeous drag Queens will be there to meet you.

 

For those not heading to the Rainbow Ball just yet, you can head to the family friendly Drag Trivia at the Empire Hotel.

 

It doesn't stop here! Young people aged 12-20 can head to the Memorial Hall where there will be a make-up artist on site from 5pm to help everyone get fabulous for the Rainbow Ball! Plus, Mieke will be performing from 5:30 to welcome everyone.

 

Finally, the Rainbow Ball is back! 6-9pm, in the Memorial Hall. LGBTQIA+ and allies aged 12-20 will be dazzled by - Drag Performers - Scarab Fire Twirlers - DJ Jane Doe - Bridge Road pizza - Soda Bar - Lolly Station - Photo Booth - Mermaid Braids - and the Chill Out Zone for when you need some down time. 

 

Lovers of Drag'd Out will be thrilled to see their favourite Kings and Queens returning - EDEN, FREDDIE MERKIN, ROSE QUARTZ, POLLY FILLA, and for the first time, SAPPHIRE QUARTZ!

 

All events are fully supervised and drug, alcohol, smoke and vape free - FREE tickets need to be reserved as events will sell out!
